He lives in Chicago with his wife and two pugs. He has worked for Marvel, DC, Dark Horse and just about everybody else. The size of the book really ruins decent shelving options, but Norton's bright and playful drawing really uses the medium well. It kind of ends the whole "all ages" concept (I mean Moll was naked from the get go, so maybe it's my OWN tagging of "all ages"), but yeah, the cursing is a cheap laugh, but it's pretty on point here. I don't think the "present time" page interludes with Moll and the dogs are really necessary, though I'm sure they'll be tied in eventually, but the introduction of Bryony in this and the simple fact that she curses every time she speaks - it's pretty funny. It's still short and still reads like a webcomic, but the adventure and the pace of it really makes sense in this volume - and it ends with a nice cliffhanger to keep us waiting for volume 3. I don't know if it's just where I'm at and what I've been reading or what, but I found this volume to be a bit better than the first. But the first volume seemed to have humor that was a little too stupid for me, a story that was really TOO fast paced (I know I know, it's a webcomic), and yeah - left me wanting a lot more. I love the concept I guess, I love all-ages comics, I love Conan, etc. I actually wasn't that excited to get Volume 2 of Battlepug, because I didn't really care for Volume 1 that much.
